Getting started

Run the free check on the homepage to see whether AI assistants recommend you today. Create an account to save your product, generate your Launch Kit (descriptions, links, and assets in every format directories ask for), and see the full picture: which engines recommend you, which don't yet, and which sources they read to decide.

From there the work is simple: get listed where your engines read, then track whether the answers change. The dashboard shows both.

Reading your report

The headline is the only score that matters: how many engines recommend you. Below it, each engine card shows its verdict:

  • Recommended — you're in the answer a buyer sees. This wins customers.
  • Mentioned — the engine knows you exist. Our check asks about your domain directly, so this only proves awareness.
  • Not recommended — asked directly, the engine declined and pointed buyers elsewhere.
  • No clear answer / didn't answer — the engine never surfaced you, or returned nothing. Never counted against you.

The sources section lists what the engines read while answering, split into directories you can get listed on today (the fastest path into the answer) and editorial coverage (blogs and lists you'd have to pitch — we track them as outreach targets). Engines reading your own site is research, not a recommendation.

Using the extension

The extension is your submission co-pilot: Orbator tells you where AI engines look, and the extension does the tedious part of getting you there.

  • Install and sign in. Download from your dashboard, load it in Chrome, sign in — it picks up your product's Launch Kit.
  • Work the queue. The sidebar shows the directories worth your time, in order. OPEN takes you to the submission form.
  • FILL FORM. It completes every field it can from your kit — and names any field it skipped so nothing fails silently. Category dropdowns and file pickers stay manual by design.
  • Review and submit. You always click submit yourself. On success it marks the directory done, with proof.
  • Tabbed forms: fill each tab and the extension tells you when captured fields live on another tab or section.

It never touches passwords, never solves captchas, and never submits on your behalf.

Scans and engine coverage

Orbator checks ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, and Grok with the questions your buyers actually ask — specific but neutral, never containing your product name (a forced mention proves nothing). Paid plans re-check weekly; answers shift as engines read new sources, which is exactly why a one-time audit goes stale. If an engine is down during a scan it's reported as “didn't answer” — never counted as a no.

Billing and refunds

  • Direct subscriptions are billed through Stripe and can be cancelled any time from the billing page — access runs to the end of the paid period.
  • Marketplace purchases (e.g. AppSumo) follow the marketplace's own refund policy and redemption flow.
  • Something broken? Tell us first — we'd rather fix it than argue about a refund.
